Every Rebellion carbon credit represents methane emissions that have been stopped at the source. By plugging orphan oil and gas wells that would otherwise continue leaking, our projects deliver immediate, measurable reductions that would not occur without our intervention. Once properly sealed, not only do these wells no longer emit, reducing long-term risk to nearby communities, ecosystems, and agricultural systems, but we also partner with Snaplands to regenerate the immediate area.
This work is technically demanding and inherently dangerous, requiring experienced oil and gas professionals and rigorous safety standards. We build on the established registration methodology and apply disciplined screening and tiered quantification to focus on high-impact wells. We operate transparently, share project data with buyers, and support the full life of every credit we issue.

High Certainty By Design
Rebellion does not assume future emissions, we engineer confidence into each credit. Our team measures methane directly, analyzes historical production data, and applies conservative decline modeling to forecast emissions over time.
Our credits are separated into standard issued volumes and "High Certainty" volumes, and we only bring High Certainty credits to market. The result is a transparent, data-and-measurement-driven approach which is specifically designed to prevent over-crediting, and to deliver durable, highly-defensible climate impact.
